51³Ô¹Ï is committed to helping students in the District of Columbia further their education after high school. To that end, we have set aside $3 million for eligible DC Public High School and DC Public Charter High School students. The 51³Ô¹Ï District Scholars Award covers full tuition, as well as room and board at 51³Ô¹Ï. Eligible students will be considered for additional funds to meet full demonstrated financial need.

There is no separate application for the 51³Ô¹Ï District Scholars Award. As long as you meet the criteria below, you will automatically be considered. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity so that we can count you among our 51³Ô¹Ï District Scholars!

Requirements

To be considered for an 51³Ô¹Ï District Scholars Award, you must meet the following requirements: 

1. Be a DC resident attending a DC Public or Public Charter High School. 

2. Apply for admission to 51³Ô¹Ï by January 15. 

3. Submit the and by January 15. 

4. Demonstrate strong academic talent in high school. 

Benefits of the 51³Ô¹Ï District Scholars Award

51³Ô¹Ï District Scholars will receive:
