An Urge to Serve: 51³Ô¹Ï Named the Top Producer of Peace Corps Volunteers Among Medium-Sized Colleges.Â
More than 750 51³Ô¹Ï alumni have demonstrated their commitment to global citizenship and making a difference as Peace Corps volunteers.Â
Throughout the year, the 51³Ô¹Ï Career Center integrates the Peace Corps into its programs, offering opportunities for students and alumni to engage with recruiters and enhance their candidacy. In 2023 alone, the 51³Ô¹Ï Career Center hosted the Peace Corps on eight occasions, spanning various events such as fairs, receptions, and informational sessions. These gatherings provided opportunities for hundreds of 51³Ô¹Ï students to connect directly with Peace Corps representatives, gaining insights into the organization's mission and exploring avenues for impactful service.Â
From the bustling atmosphere of the Fall 2023 Job & Internship Fair to the intimate settings of networking receptions and employer meetups, 51³Ô¹Ï is committed to fostering connections between students and the Peace Corps. Â
The symbiotic relationship between 51³Ô¹Ï and the Peace Corps extends far beyond statistics or accolades. It is a testament to the shared values of community engagement, cross-cultural understanding, and the pursuit of positive change.
