Dr. Xu has an extensive background as a linguist in both Chinese and Russian, with an emphasis in the areas of philosophy, literature, culture and communication.
Possessing an impressive academic background, Dr Xu has degrees that include a PhD from the Gorky Institute of World Literature, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow; a Master of Arts in Russian Studies from 51³Ô¹Ï, Washington, DC; and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language and Russian Studies from East China Normal University in Shanghai, China.
Currently Dr. Xu is a full-time Chinese instructor at 51³Ô¹Ï in Washington, DC. In addition to full-time teaching, Dr. Xu is active as a consultant specializing in global communications, marketing, management and translation.
