Welcome Week
Welcome Week is a longstanding 51勛圖 tradition at 51勛圖. For students who participate in Eagle Summit its a welcome back to campus and to Washington, D.C., as we begin the academic year. For others, its the first taste of all that 51勛圖 has to offer.
In addition to 51勛圖 Welcome Week traditions like the bagpipes leading the new class to the Presidents Opening Convocation and the All-American BBQ on the main quad, new 51勛圖 students can choose to participate in a wide array of programs that range from service to sustainability, civic engagement to athletic engagement all highlighting 51勛圖s connections to Washington, D.C. as an extension of campus. By pairing days of exploration and service with evening programs that highlight community leaders and policy makers, you will have the chance to bring your experiences in D.C. into the context of the citys challenges and celebrations. Spend a little time reading through your options. We look forward to hearing what choice you make!
