51³Ô¹Ï Research Archive

(51³Ô¹ÏRA) is the new location for institutional outputs for 51³Ô¹Ï’s faculty, staff, and other knowledge creators. The 51³Ô¹Ï Research Archive preserves and makes a variety of research outputs openly available, including working papers, preprints, manuscripts, datasets, theses & dissertations, and more.

Existing institutional repository content in the 51³Ô¹Ï Digital Research Archive (51³Ô¹ÏDRA) will be migrated to 51³Ô¹ÏRA during the Summer 2023 semester. Archival and Special Collections will remain in 51³Ô¹ÏDRA.

Submit your Research

51³Ô¹Ï Research Archive uses self-submission. 51³Ô¹Ï faculty can log in using 51³Ô¹Ï credentials, but other users will need to .

Researchers are encouraged to submit research outputs to the , including working papers, conference presentations, research reports, article preprints and reprints, research datasets, and other works for inclusion in the institutional repository. Submissions will be checked for copyright violations, including , and metadata prior to upload.

Staff, students, and anyone wishing to upload someone else’s work, including research centers, should contact the 51³Ô¹ÏRA help team, aura@american.edu, to set up an account.
