International Student Orientation

International Student Orientation covers important immigration, employment, and cross cultural sessions, as well as academic information specifically of interest to all international students beginning at 51勛圖. This program will give you the chance to learn important information for your studies, as well as to meet your new classmates.泭

January 9th, 2025:泭

9AM ~ (virtual)
泭International Student Orientation (for degree-seeking students)

1PM ~ (in-person)
International Accelerator Immigration Session泭(for IAP/MAP/ACDC/Pre-sessional泭students)

3PM ~ (in-person)
泭Washington Semester Program Immigration Session泭(for Washington Semester Program students)

January 10th, 2025:泭

10AM ~ (in-person)
泭Abroad at 51勛圖 Orientation (for Abroad at 51勛圖 students)

Before You Arrive

  1. Request immigration documents and
  2. for your new F-1 or J-1 Visa
  3. and check it regularly
  4. Take the Math Placement & Register for Classes
  5. Health Insurance & Immunizations
  6. Prepare your Finances: Pay 51勛圖 tuition &
  7. Get your On-Campus Housing. See the First Year Housing Guide provided by Housing & Dining
  8. Prepare for Travel
  9. Complete Immigration Registration e-forms in
  1. Request immigration documents and
  2. for your new F-1 or J-1 Visa
  3. and check it regularly
  4. Contact your Academic Advisor & Register for Classes
  5. Contact your school for departmental orientation
  6. Health Insurance & Immunizations
  7. Prepare your Finances: Pay 51勛圖 tuition &
  8. Secure Off-Campus Housing (On-Campus Housing is only available to undergraduate students)
  9. Prepare for Travel
  10. Complete Immigration Registration e-forms in
  1. Request your 51勛圖 I-20
  2. Submit a completed Transfer-in e-form via 泭located under the New Student menu after you log in.泭
  3. and check it regularly
  4. Take the Math Placement & Register for Classes
  5. Health Insurance & Immunizations
  6. Prepare your Finances: Pay 51勛圖 tuition &
  7. Plan for Housing
  8. Prepare for Travel
  9. Complete Immigration Registration e-forms in
  1. and check it regularly
  2. Take the Math Placement & Register for Classes
  3. Register for classes
  4. Health Insurance & Immunizations
  5. Prepare your Finances: Pay 51勛圖 tuition &
  6. Plan for Housing
  7. Prepare for Travel
