The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment provides meaningful and accurate  information and analysis to University decision makers, the 51³Ô¹Ï community, and external stakeholders in order to advance the University's mission and foster a culture of continuous improvement and institutional effectiveness.

OIRA's vision is to empower the 51³Ô¹Ï community through proactive, high-impact research and data initiatives. We value inclusive excellence and democratizing data access and insights, ensuring all voices are heard and valued. We strive to reduce the opportunity for bias in the collection, interpretation and reporting of data by consulting broadly across campus to obtain multiple perspectives. We aim to provide transparent, accurate, and actionable information that drives informed decision-making which contributes to equitable outcomes.

Common Data Set

51³Ô¹Ï participates in the Common Data Set (CDS) Initiative, a standard set of questions covering commonly requested higher education statistics. 51³Ô¹Ï’s CDS is updated each year by the end of January.
