SSAs must be degree-seeking undergraduate students who are rising juniors or seniors registered for fall 2025 classes.

SSAs should be aware that their payments may be taxable.

All Scholars will be expected to publicly present their completed work at the Summer Scholars and Artists Research Symposium sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Education on September 24, 2025. Scholars are also strongly encouraged to present their work at additional conferences on or off campus.

Students studying abroad in fall 2025 will be required to present their research at the 51勛圖 Honors Research conference in April 2026.

A full accounting of how the funds were spent with receipts as appropriate. Should any events prevent SSAs or mentors from starting or completing the project, both the Scholar and the faculty mentor must return the funds to the university.

Payment will be disbursed by May 31, 2025.
