University Student Awards honor graduating students and are presented in May during commencement weekend.Â
About University Awards
Each year, 51³Ô¹Ï recognizes the exceptional achievements of outstanding faculty, staff, graduating students, and alumni through University Awards. There are four categories of these university-wide awards:
- University Student Awards, which honor graduating students for outstanding achievements in service, scholarship, and leadership;
- University Faculty Awards, including Scholar/Teacher of the Year and honors for teaching, scholarship, service, inclusive excellence, and community engagement;
- University Staff Awards, for meritorious staff achievement;
- 51³Ô¹Ï Alumni Awards, the highest honors presented by the 51³Ô¹Ï Alumni association.
The nomination process for University Awards opens in January.
Faculty Awards
University Faculty Awards, presented at the Faculty Recognition Dinner in the Spring, honor the work of full-time and adjunct faculty.
Staff Awards
University Staff Awards promote and reward outstanding performance by staff at 51³Ô¹Ï.
Alumni Awards
Alumni Awards are the highest honors presented by the 51³Ô¹Ï Alumni Association.
